On this page

Here's the short version. WatchTraderHub is a back office: it helps one dealer manage their own stock and push it out to retail channels. Soda is a trade floor with the back office built in: a marketplace where verified dealers buy, sell, auction and trade with each other, plus the inventory, invoices and publishing to run the business around it.

Those are different jobs. I'm writing this so you can see which one you actually need, using only what WatchTraderHub publishes about itself, as of October 2026. For every category side by side, see how watch dealer platforms compare.

What WatchTraderHub is

WatchTraderHub pairs a free public reference database, which it lists at 5,037 watches, 505 brands and 5,487 movements, with dealer tools for inventory, sales and channels.[1] It syncs to Chrono24, eBay, WooCommerce and Shopify, and when a watch sells it is delisted through every channel, with Chrono24 clearing on its next feed import.[1]

Its named modules include inventory, labels and scanning, invoicing, tax and VAT support, team management, AI listing descriptions, a client CRM, analytics and consignment.[2] The CRM has three contact types (private, dealer and supplier) and a wish list per client matched against inventory.[3]

Pricing, as listed on their site in October 2026: Free for up to 15 watches, Starter €99 a month for 50, Pro €149 a month for 100 and Business €249 a month for 250, with custom Enterprise plans.[2]

It's built by Pavel Vlachkov, a dealer since 2017, and operated by Prime Code LLC in Sofia, Bulgaria.[4] I respect that. A dealer building the tool he needed is exactly how Soda started too.

Why I built Soda differently

I sold watches for years before building Soda. For most dealers, the hard part isn't the spreadsheet. It's the trade: finding the watch a client wants, knowing who's on the other end, and getting paid safely. The trade runs on group chats, screenshots and trust that can't be checked.

So I didn't start with inventory and add channels. I started with the network of verified dealers and built the business tools around it. Run your whole business from one tab.

A network, not just a stock list

A back office knows what you own. It doesn't bring you the dealers who want it, or the dealer who has the watch your client is waiting for. We couldn't find a dealer-to-dealer marketplace on WatchTraderHub's public website as of October 2026.

On Soda, every public listing and auction from every verified dealer sits in one marketplace, with one search bar that understands references in any format, nicknames and typos. When a watch you need isn't there yet, a Looking For request alerts you in the app and by email the moment it's listed, matched on set, condition, card year and budget.

Deals that bind, with a record

Selling to the trade isn't a checkout page. It's offers, counters, claims and trades. On Soda:

  • Mark as Sold: the first confirmed buyer wins, the seller confirms within 24 hours, and there's a backup queue if someone drops out.
  • Binding offers that expire after 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days.
  • Trade offers with items on both sides and cash either way, binding once accepted, cash before shipping.
  • Live auctions with verified real-name bidders, max bids, tiered increments and a 60-second soft close. No deposits.

Every deal gets a page: shipping terms both sides confirm, tracking, packing photos or video, documents and invoices in 5 seconds.

Know who's on the other end

Every business on Soda is reviewed by our team before it can trade: ID, a selfie with the ID and business documents. Profiles show the verification date, completed deals, completion rate, ratings, vouches and strikes. Our team doesn't trade on Soda, and listings go live instantly.

Your own channels too, on the Team plan

You don't have to give up retail. On the Team plan, Soda's inventory manager publishes to your own Shopify store, eBay US and a Chrono24 feed, which Chrono24 imports about once a day. Wholesale and end-user prices are kept separate, so other dealers never see your retail price. When a watch sells or is traded, it comes down from your channels; Chrono24 doesn't report sales, so you record those yourself. And Quick Copy writes a formatted WhatsApp or Facebook post from any watch in two clicks.

Private cost, margin, bulk actions and CSV or Excel export are on both plans. For the process side, see watch dealer inventory management.

Who Soda is for

Soda is trade-only, for verified watch businesses that deal with other dealers as well as their own clients. If you only sell retail through your own website and never trade with other dealers, a back-office tool may be all you need. If dealer-to-dealer trade is a real part of your month, you need the network.

The Solo plan is $80 USD a month and the Team plan, with employee seats and retail publishing, is $150 USD a month. No commissions. No initiation fee. Full details on pricing.

The bottom line

WatchTraderHub runs one dealer's stock and retail channels. Soda connects you to every verified dealer, with binding deals, live auctions, verified payment details and price history from real trades, and includes the inventory, invoices and retail publishing to run the rest.

Questions dealers ask

Is WatchTraderHub worth it?

If your main job is running your own stock and selling it through your own website, eBay and Chrono24, WatchTraderHub is built for that, with a free plan for up to 15 watches. If a big part of your business is trading with other dealers, you'll also need somewhere to find, verify and deal with them.

How much does WatchTraderHub cost?

As listed on their site in October 2026: Free for up to 15 watches, Starter at €99 a month for 50 watches, Pro at €149 a month for 100 watches, Business at €249 a month for 250 watches, and custom Enterprise pricing.

What is the best WatchTraderHub alternative for dealers who trade with other dealers?

Look for a platform that combines inventory with a marketplace of verified businesses, binding deals, auctions and price history from real trades. Soda is built around that dealer-to-dealer trade, with inventory, invoices and retail publishing included.
