General
Soda is a private, verified B2B marketplace and software for watch dealers. Verified dealers list and find watches, run live auctions, make binding offers and trades, post what they’re looking for, and run their inventory and invoices in one place. It’s trade-only, and you still pay each other directly.
No. Clients & CRM is built into Soda and included in every plan: your client book with each client’s sizes, taste and important dates, wishlists matched against your own stock and the whole marketplace, pipelines, reminders and a calendar, message templates, and costs and profit on every watch. Import your clients from a spreadsheet, your phone contacts or WhatsApp chats, and export everything any time.
Soda is trade-only. Membership is open to registered watch businesses and their employees: independent dealers, brick & mortar stores and online dealers. Every business and person is verified before getting access.
No more Facebook. No more groups full of phone numbers with nothing behind them. Groups were never built for watch dealing: fake accounts, auctions in comment sections, deals decided by whoever types SOLD first, and bank details sent in DMs. On Soda every member is a verified business listed by real name and company, with reviews, vouches, a reliability score and strikes. You’re not paying for access to a group chat; you’re paying for a real platform built to run your business. Run your whole business from one tab.
Built by watch dealers who’ve lived every one of these headaches. Soda exists because we know the pain points first-hand, and it solves them. Nothing else like it exists for B2B watch dealing. Same business, 1,000× easier. Nothing about how you trade changes: every part of it just gets faster and simpler.
Yes, on the Team plan. Team: includes 5 seats for your staff (you’re not counted). Need more? Add 5 seats for $100 USD/month. Every employee has their own login and always appears with your company, linked to your company page. Each person has a rank: Owner, Admin or Employee. Owners and admins control ranks and can suspend or remove anyone instantly. Solo is for one account.
Everyone appears as Full Name (Company) [Rank] with their country flag, for example Daniel Okafor (Meridian Time Co.) [Owner], on listings, bids, messages, reviews and the dealer directory. Tap a name to open their company page. You always know exactly who you’re dealing with.
Yes. Dealers across North America, the Middle East and Asia use the network. Auctions show times in your local time zone. Prices are always in USD, with an optional approximate conversion to your own currency when you’re logged in.
Verification
You apply step by step and can save and come back any time. We ask for your legal name, date of birth, residential address with proof, a mobile number, government ID (front and back) and a selfie holding it, plus your business registration and business proof of address. Stores can also add photos of the storefront and interior (optional). Every application is checked document by document and reviewed by our verification team. Fake accounts don’t get in. We email you at each step, and if something needs fixing, you only update that item.
So our team can reach you about your application and your account if we need to. Other dealers never see it, except a business you have a confirmed deal with (for couriers, shipping and invoices).
Trading
No. Dealers pay each other directly, by wire, crypto or however they already do. Once a deal is agreed, both sides see each other’s secure, verified payment details inside the deal, and any change must be confirmed by the account owner. We never touch your money and take no commissions.
Yes, on the Team plan. Publish a watch from your inventory to your own Shopify store, eBay (US) and a Chrono24 feed, with a separate end user price other dealers never see. When you sell it, it comes down from your other channels.
No initiation fee. No commissions. One simple monthly price. We never touch your money. You pay one flat subscription and settle each deal directly with the other dealer, by wire, Zelle, crypto or however you already work. We’re not in the middle of payments, and we don’t take a cut.
Deals are protected by seller confirmation, reliability scores and strikes. A buyer who backs out after the seller confirms a Mark as Sold, an auction winner who doesn’t complete the purchase, or a seller who doesn’t honour a confirmed sale can be reported from the deal page. The other dealer has 48 hours to respond. No response means a strike; if they disagree, our team reviews it. One strike is a warning, two pause auction bidding and Mark as Sold for 30 days, and three suspend the account while our team reviews it. Profiles show completed deals, completion rate and active strikes. Cancelling by mutual agreement never results in a strike.
Yes. Listings use real brand names and real references, so you write Rolex, not RLX, and anyone can find it. Search covers every listing from every verified dealer: type a reference like 126710BLNR, a model, a dealer or the nicknames dealers use, like Batman, Pepsi or B&P. Then filter by year, set, condition, link count, price and location. Search a reference and sold comps from deals between verified dealers show right above the results. No more scrolling back through months of messages to find one post.
Still posting in WhatsApp or Facebook groups? Tap WhatsApp or Facebook on a watch in your inventory (or in Quick Copy), then Copy photo and Copy caption, and paste both into your group: two taps, then paste. The caption is written for each app from your listing, the way dealers already post: short and to the point for WhatsApp, and for Facebook worked around the filters most dealer groups use (short brand names, swapped spellings, emoji prices), so your post is far less likely to be held or removed. Group rules vary, so check yours. It was built by watch dealers who post in these groups themselves. The photo is your original, without the Soda watermark. On a phone, Send to WhatsApp can share the photo and caption in one tap where your phone supports it. Nothing is ever posted for you, and Soda never connects to your WhatsApp or Facebook account.
On a fixed-price listing, Mark as Sold commits you to buy the watch at the listed price. The first confirmed buyer wins, locked instantly, and the listing shows Sold (pending). Other dealers can join a backup queue. Once the seller confirms, it becomes Sold. Backing out after that counts against your reliability score.
On any fixed-price watch or accessory that’s open to trades (on by default; auctions can’t be traded), tap Offer a trade. Pick what you get: their watch, plus any of their other open-to-trades pieces. Add what you give: one or more items from your inventory. Then add a cash difference if you need one, either way: you pay them, or they pay you. You choose how long the offer stays open: 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days. The other dealer can accept, decline or counter by changing the items or the cash, and every round stays in one history. Trade offers are binding: once accepted, both sides are committed, and backing out counts as a strike.
Before anyone ships. Once a trade with cash is accepted, the dealer paying the difference sees the other side’s verified payment details inside the deal and has 48 hours to pay. When the dealer receiving it confirms the payment, both watches can ship. Trades without cash can ship straight away. You still pay each other directly; we never touch the money.
Each dealer ships their own watch to the other, and by default each pays for their own shipping. Either of you can suggest different terms for a shipment, but a change only applies once both of you agree. Every shipment has its own tracking number and packing photos on the deal, and the trade completes when both sides confirm they’ve received their watch.
Yes. You can put watches and accessories from your private inventory into a trade offer. Only the dealer you send the offer to can see them and their asking price; nobody else on the platform ever does. If the offer is declined or expires, they can’t see them any more.
Yes. Auctions are fully transparent. The bid history shows every bidder’s real name, company and rank, for example Daniel Okafor (Meridian Time Co.) [Owner], with the amount and time. You can also see the number of bidders, bids and watchers.
Auctions use a soft close: any bid placed in the final 60 seconds adds 60 seconds to the clock, so nobody gets sniped. When an auction enters that window the timer shows “Extension active”, and every extension is shown to all bidders. The clock is kept by our server, so everyone sees the same time.
Every bidder is a KYC-verified dealer shown by real name, company and rank. Bids are binding, and failing to complete a won auction results in a strike. Sellers and their own employees can’t bid on their auctions. You can bid manually or set a max bid, and bids can’t be retracted, so every bid on the page is real. No deposit is needed.
Post what you’re looking for once: reference, years, condition, set and budget, plus details like full links, unpolished, card dated 2023+ or no aftermarket parts. It works for accessories too, like 2 links for a 126610LN. The moment any verified dealer lists a match, you’re alerted in the app and by email. Ready to pay straight away? Mark your post Wire ready.
Yes. The Accessories & Parts marketplace is included in your plan: straps, bracelets, links, clasps, bezels, dials, boxes, movements and tools, searchable by the reference they fit. Every item is labelled genuine or aftermarket, and that label can never be hidden. Counterfeit and replica items aren’t allowed, and standalone warranty cards and papers can’t be listed.
Yes. Tap Watch on any listing or auction and it appears in your Watching tab, with live status such as price drops, auctions ending soon, outbid and sold. You can choose to be notified about any of these.
Real dealer-to-dealer prices from real deals on Soda, not retail prices scraped from eBay and marketplaces. Every asking and sold price comes from listings and deals between verified dealers on the platform, with the seller shown, so you see what the trade really pays. We don’t use retail listings or third-party price feeds.
Safety
No. Your clients are private to your business: everyone on your team sees them, other dealers never do. When you source a watch for a client, the seller never sees who it’s for. And Soda never contacts your clients: every message goes from your own WhatsApp, Messages or email.
No more posting “reference check” in a group and waiting for replies. Every dealer on Soda is verified before they get access: business documents and ID with a selfie. Open any profile to see their deal history, completion rate, reviews, vouches from other dealers and any active strikes, instantly. You can still ask around if you like. You just won’t need to.
Secure, verified payment details are stored in each company’s profile and only shown inside a deal to the two parties. Never in chat. Any change must be confirmed by the account owner, with a link emailed to the address already on file. Unconfirmed changes expire after 24 hours, and tapping “This wasn’t me” cancels the change, logs out every session and alerts our team. Dealers with an open deal are notified, and the deal page shows “Payment details changed on [date]”. You still pay each other directly; we never handle the money.
Only when there’s a reason to. Authorised staff may access accounts, messages and documents for moderation, support, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. Every access requires a stated reason and is logged. Deleted content is soft-deleted first, so our team can restore it if something was removed by mistake.
An optional, paid service where a named, vetted middleman in your region authenticates the watch, checks its condition and holds it until both sides are satisfied. Verified members in good standing can apply to become a middleman inside the app.
Yes. Both watches go to the middleman, who checks each one and then sends them on together. Because two watches are inspected, there are two middleman fees, one per watch, based on that watch’s value. Each side pays the fee for the watch it sends.
Billing
No. Unlike other dealer networks, there’s no initiation fee and no commissions: just one simple monthly price, with every trading feature included. You’re not paying for access to a WhatsApp chat or a Facebook group. You’re paying for a real platform built to run your business.
One price, full access to trading, with no initiation fee and no commissions. Solo is $80 USD a month and Team is $150 USD a month. Pay yearly and get 2 months free: $800 USD a year for Solo, $1,500 USD a year for Team. Every trading feature is included on both plans; Team adds employee accounts and selling on your own Shopify store, eBay and Chrono24. Team: includes 5 seats for your staff (you’re not counted). Need more? Add 5 seats for $100 USD/month.
Refer a dealer: you both get a month free, and you get a free 72-hour boost. No limit. Share your company’s referral link or code, or send it on WhatsApp in one tap. The dealer you referred gets their first month free once they’re approved. When their first payment goes through, you get a free month too (your next payment simply moves back a month) plus a free 72-hour boost for any listing. See the Referral Program Terms for details.
Not while we review your application. You choose your plan and add a card when you apply, and your plan starts when you’re approved. If your application is declined, you’re never charged and the card is removed. If you signed up with a referral code, your first month is free and you won’t be charged until your free month ends. Every free month you earn moves your next payment back by a month.
The first 250 dealers get 2 months free, a Founding Member badge and a free 24-hour boost. The badge shows on your company page and every team member’s profile. Spots are limited and counted per business, so a whole team counts once. Your spot is saved as soon as you submit your application, and the free months start when you’re approved. It stacks with referrals: join with a dealer’s referral code and you get 3 free months. The offer ends when the spots are gone.
An optional extra for the first 250 dealers. If you’d like, our onboarding team moves your inventory onto the platform for you: book a short call, send your watch list and photos in any format, and we prepare your listings as private drafts. You check the details, set your prices and publish. Prefer to do it yourself? That’s quick too: type a reference and we fill in the specs, then set every price on one screen.
No. You get a free month and a free 72-hour boost for every dealer you refer, once their first payment goes through, and free months stack. Refer 12 dealers, get a year free. They work on monthly and yearly plans, and stay on your account if you upgrade from Solo to Team.
Plans are billed in USD. Your bank may apply its own conversion rate. Every price on the platform is in USD too; when you’re logged in you can also see an approximate conversion to your own currency, for reference only.
Every trading feature is on both plans. Team adds employee accounts and selling on your own Shopify store, eBay and Chrono24. Solo is one account. Team: includes 5 seats for your staff (you’re not counted). Need more? Add 5 seats for $100 USD/month. Pay monthly, or yearly and get 2 months free.
Yes, in one click from your billing settings. Your employees can join straight away, and any free months you’ve earned stay on your account.
Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your billing settings. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
