The short answer

WatchDealerPro is an operating system for watch dealers covering inventory, CRM and deal pipeline, invoicing through Harbor Commerce, e-sign contracts and a website builder. As of October 2026 it lists Core at $99 a month and Pro at $149 a month, and says all plans include a 2% transaction processing fee. Soda is a trade-only platform for verified dealers with a flat subscription, no commissions, and we never touch your money.

Key takeaways

  • WatchDealerPro lists two plans, $99 and $149 a month, and a 2% transaction processing fee on all plans, as of October 2026.
  • A percentage fee grows with your volume; a flat subscription doesn't.
  • Soda has no commissions and no initiation fee, and we never touch your money.
  • Soda is built around a marketplace of verified dealers, not just your own storefront.
  • Both plans on Soda have the same trading features; Team adds employee seats and retail channels.

On this page

Margins in dealer-to-dealer trade are rarely as wide as outsiders imagine. That's why the first number I look at in any software isn't the monthly price. It's whether the vendor takes a percentage. WatchDealerPro's homepage is upfront about it: "All plans include a 2% transaction processing fee."[1]

My verdict: WatchDealerPro is a full single-dealer operating system, and if its storefront and payment tools are what you need, it's worth comparing honestly. If you'd rather pay one flat price however much you sell, and trade with a network of verified dealers, Soda was built for that. For every option side by side, see our watch dealer platform comparison.

What WatchDealerPro is

WatchDealerPro calls itself "The Complete Operating System for Professional Watch Dealers", with the line "Inventory. Deals. Payments. Contracts. Analytics. All connected. All automated."[1]

As of October 2026, its homepage lists:[1]

  • Core, $99 a month: 2 team seats, full inventory management, CRM and deal pipeline, invoicing with Harbor Commerce, a basic website builder, with a custom domain as a $20 a month add-on.
  • Pro, $149 a month: 5 team seats, custom domain included, plus advanced analytics, CSV and PDF exports, marketing automation and contract templates.
  • A 2% transaction processing fee on all plans.
  • Tracking of brand, model, reference and serial, with "cost basis + asking price + ROI", "auto-invoices on stage advance" and "e-signature contracts via ShockSign".

A separate page from Aftershock Network describes WatchDealerPro as its platform for watch dealers, including consignment with a consignor portal, multi-channel listing to "Chrono24, eBay, your own e-commerce site, dealer-to-dealer networks", and collector wishlists.[2] The same page describes custom deployments at $25,000 to $60,000, plus $600 to $2,000 a month.[2] Treat that as a separate, custom option; the self-serve prices above are the ones on watchdealerpro.com.

Why I built Soda differently

I sold watches for years before building Soda. Dealer volume swings from month to month, and I didn't think a software bill should grow every time a dealer has a good one.

So Soda has one flat subscription, two plans with the same features, and no commissions. And because I built it for the trade, not just for one dealer's shop, it's centred on a marketplace where every verified dealer is.

The math on a percentage

Here's simple arithmetic, not a claim about any particular dealer. If 2% applied to $50,000 of sales processed in a month, that's $1,000 that month, on top of the plan. At $150,000, it's $3,000. A percentage scales with your success. The busier you get, the more you pay, for the same software.

The exact amount depends on what WatchDealerPro's fee applies to, so check that with them. Then do the exercise from our watch dealer software guide: price every tool on a normal month and on your best month.

On Soda there's no line to calculate. Solo is $80 USD a month and Team is $1,500 USD a year, with no commissions on your trades and no initiation fee. Full details on our pricing page.

Built around a network, not just a storefront

WatchDealerPro's plans include a website builder for your own site.[1] That serves end customers. Soda is built for the other half of the business: trading with other dealers.

Soda puts every verified dealer's public listings and auctions into one marketplace. Your listing goes live instantly. One search bar understands references in any format, nicknames and small typos. Looking For requests alert you in the app and by email when a verified dealer lists the watch you need, with set, condition, card year and budget. And Mark as Sold, binding offers and trade offers mean a deal is a deal.

If you also sell to end users, the Team plan can publish the same inventory to your own Shopify store, eBay US and a Chrono24 feed, with separate wholesale and end-user prices. The Chrono24 feed is a once-a-day import.

Payment safety without a processor in the middle

WatchDealerPro routes invoicing and payments through Harbor Commerce.[1] Soda takes a different approach: we never touch your money. Instead, once a deal is agreed, both sides see each other's secure, verified payment details inside the deal page only. Any change has to be confirmed by the owner by email or text, and counterparties are notified. Shipping terms are confirmed by both sides, with tracking and packing photos or video stored on the deal.

Inventory and invoices, included

You still get the back office. The inventory manager keeps your cost and margin private to your company, with bulk actions and CSV or Excel export. Invoices come out of a deal in about 5 seconds, in your own style, as Letter or A4 PDF. For how dealers think about the numbers behind each sale, see watch dealer margins.

Who Soda is for

Soda is trade-only: registered watch businesses that buy and sell with other dealers and are willing to be verified by our team. Solo suits a one-person business; Team suits shops with staff, where every employee gets their own login and ID check. If your business is mostly a retail storefront with consignment, compare carefully on the features you actually use.

The bottom line

WatchDealerPro lists $99 and $149 plans and a 2% transaction processing fee on all of them, as of October 2026. Soda is one flat subscription with no commissions, a marketplace of verified dealers, binding deals, live auctions, verified payment details, inventory and invoices.
