What does “Tiffany Blue” mean?
Patek Nautilus, Tiffany dial.
Tiffany Blue, explained
'Tiffany Blue' refers to the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-018, released in December 2021 with a dial in the robin's-egg blue associated with Tiffany & Co. and the jeweller's name printed beneath Patek Philippe's. It was limited to 170 pieces to mark 170 years of the relationship between the two companies, and it was among the very last 5711/1A variants before the reference ended.
The name causes confusion in two ways. Tiffany & Co. has co-signed Patek Philippe dials for many years, so older Nautilus and other Patek watches with 'Tiffany & Co.' printed on a standard dial are sometimes called 'Tiffany' too, but they are not the 170-piece limited edition. Separately, Rolex Oyster Perpetual models with a turquoise dial are widely nicknamed 'Tiffany' or 'Tiffany blue'. Always state the brand and full reference, and for the 5711/1A-018 confirm provenance and the complete set, since a limited edition of this profile attracts close scrutiny.
Example: 'Patek 5711/1A-018 Tiffany Blue, one of 170, full set with original documents.'
