What does “Batgirl” mean?

GMT-Master II, blue/black on Jubilee.

Batgirl, explained

'Batgirl' is the nickname for the Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLNR when fitted with the five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet. It has the same blue and black ceramic bezel and black dial as the 'Batman', but the Jubilee gives it a dressier look, which inspired the more playful name. The 126710BLNR was introduced in 2019 with the Jubilee bracelet only and caliber 3285, and an Oyster bracelet version followed in 2021.

Because both bracelet versions share the same reference number, the nickname is a quick way to say which one you mean, though not everyone uses it and some dealers call both 'Batman'. When buying or selling, confirm the bracelet in writing and check the photos, since the bracelet decides which buyers are interested. Bracelets can be swapped between watches, so buyers who want the original configuration should ask how the watch was delivered new and whether everything in the set matches. The card date and whether the watch is unworn with its stickers are the other main value points.

Example: 'Batgirl 126710BLNR on Jubilee, 2022 card, unworn, stickers on.'
