Soda vs WatchFlow: Broadcasting to Groups or Trading in a Verified Network

WatchFlow helps dealers post inventory into WhatsApp and Telegram groups. Soda is a verified, trade-only network where the deal happens.

6 min read

The short answer

WatchFlow is dealer software that publishes inventory to WhatsApp and Telegram groups and to retail and wholesale storefronts, priced at $175 per user per month on its Professional plan as of October 2026. Soda is the alternative for dealers who want to trade with verified businesses in one place: binding Mark as Sold and offers, live auctions, verified payment details, inventory and invoices.

Key takeaways

  • WatchFlow's core idea is posting your inventory into WhatsApp and Telegram groups faster.
  • Soda's core idea is a verified network where your listing reaches every verified dealer instantly.
  • WatchFlow says there is no live Chrono24 or eBay connector; Soda's Team plan publishes to your own Shopify store, eBay US and a Chrono24 feed.
  • WatchFlow lists its Professional plan per user; Soda's Team plan includes employee seats.

On this page

My short verdict: WatchFlow makes it faster to post your watches into WhatsApp and Telegram groups. Soda is built on a different bet, that the trade deserves a place where every dealer is verified and every deal is binding, instead of a faster way into the same chats. If the group is your shop window and you're happy with it, WatchFlow is aimed at you. If the group is where your headaches start, this comparison is for you.

Everything I say about WatchFlow comes from its own website, as of October 2026, with a citation for each fact. For the full landscape, read how watch dealer platforms compare.

What WatchFlow is

WatchFlow calls itself "The Dealer Operating System".[1] It combines inventory (with statuses such as In Stock, Reserved, Sold and Returned to Vendor), a Watch Library of 30,000+ references, AutoCaption for drafting captions from a watch's specs, a deal pipeline, invoices generated from deals, deposit tracking, trade-outs and memo deals, and reports on an accrual or cash basis.[3]

Its distribution is the centre of the pitch. WatchFlow says you can "post a listing to WhatsApp and Telegram at the same time, straight from the watch", and that your inventory syncs to a public retail storefront and a password-gated wholesale storefront.[4] Its app pages also mention a WatchFlow Marketplace for browsing watches from its dealer network.[5] WatchFlow's inventory page states that "there is no live Chrono24 or eBay connector", and that Shopify, Instagram and Facebook posting are coming soon.[4]

Pricing, as listed on their site in October 2026: Starter is free for 7 watches and 4 invoices a month; Professional is $175 a month per user, where "each person who logs into WatchFlow counts as one user"; Team is $175 a month plus $75 a month per additional member; annual billing saves 15%, and there's a 14-day free trial.[2]

Why I built Soda differently

I sold watches for years, and I'm still in many paid dealer groups. I know why tools that post into groups exist: that's where buyers are. But I also know what happens after the post. Ten people reply. Someone says "SOLD". Bank details arrive in a message. Nobody can check who anyone really is.

Posting faster into that doesn't fix it. So I built Soda as a platform, not a group chat: verified businesses only, real names on every listing and bid, and deals that are binding and recorded. Built by dealers, for dealers.

A post in a group is not a deal

Groups are where many buyers are, and I understand why dealers post there. The trouble is the group itself. Once your post lands, every step after it, who's first, who's real, where the money goes, happens in chat.

On Soda, your listing goes live instantly in one marketplace of every verified dealer's public listings and auctions. Nobody trades until our team has reviewed their ID, a selfie with the ID and business documents. Buyers find your watch with one search bar that understands references in any format, nicknames and typos, and Looking For alerts tell dealers in the app and by email the moment a match is listed. Contact details stay private, and conversations happen in the app with the watch attached.

Binding beats "available?"

In a group, speed decides who gets the watch, and then nothing holds anyone to it. On Soda, a buyer taps Mark as Sold to commit at the listed price. The first confirmed buyer wins, the seller confirms within 24 hours, and a backup queue is ready if the first buyer falls through. Offers are binding for the time you set. Trade offers put watches on both sides with cash either way. A dealer who backs out gets a strike on a record everyone can see.

Payment details that can't be swapped in a chat

The moment a group deal is agreed, someone sends bank details by message. That's the easiest thing in the deal to fake. On Soda, both sides see each other's secure, verified payment details inside the deal page and nowhere else. Changes must be confirmed by the owner by email or text, and anyone with an open deal is notified. Shipping terms are confirmed by both sides, with tracking and packing photos or video kept on the deal. We never touch your money.

Retail channels and your team

WatchFlow publishes to its own storefronts, and says Chrono24 and eBay aren't connected live.[4] On Soda's Team plan, one inventory item can also be published to your own Shopify store, eBay US and a Chrono24 feed (imported about once a day), with a wholesale price for dealers and a separate end-user price for retail. If you still post in groups, Quick Copy writes a formatted WhatsApp or Facebook post from any inventory item for you to paste.

WatchFlow lists Professional per user.[2] Our two plans have the same features, and Team accounts add employee seats, each person with their own login, rank and ID check. Solo is $80 USD a month and Team is $150 USD a month. No commissions. No initiation fee. Details on pricing.

Who should switch

Switch if your business is a verified watch business that buys and sells with other dealers, and you're tired of group posts, "SOLD" comments and payment details in chat. Soda is trade-only: every member is a reviewed business. If what you want most is a way to broadcast to groups you already run, WatchFlow is built for that job. Many dealers will do both for a while, and that's fine. For the wider risks of trading in chats, see why WhatsApp and Facebook groups are failing watch dealers.

The bottom line

WatchFlow helps you get your inventory into WhatsApp, Telegram and its storefronts quickly. Soda gives you a verified network where the deal itself is binding and on the record: one marketplace, Mark as Sold, binding offers, live auctions, verified payment details, inventory, invoices and price history from real deals, with Shopify, eBay US and Chrono24 publishing on the Team plan.

Post once, to dealers you can trust

I built Soda for the people who actually do this work. Your listing goes live instantly, to verified dealers only. See how we compare, see all features, then apply for access or book a demo.

Questions dealers ask

Is WatchFlow worth it?

If your business runs on posting into WhatsApp and Telegram groups and you want a storefront, WatchFlow is built for that. Its Professional plan is listed at $175 a month per user as of October 2026, with a free Starter plan for up to 7 watches. If you want deals with verified dealers to happen on a platform, compare it with a trade-only network.

What is the best WatchFlow alternative for watch dealers?

For dealers who want verification and binding deals rather than faster group posts, Soda is a trade-only platform: verified businesses only, a marketplace of every verified dealer's listings, Mark as Sold, binding offers, live auctions, verified payment details, inventory, invoices and price history from real deals.

How much does WatchFlow cost?

As listed on WatchFlow's pricing page in October 2026: Starter is free for up to 7 watches and 4 invoices a month; Professional is $175 a month per user; Team is $175 a month plus $75 a month per additional member, with 15% off for annual billing.

Does WatchFlow connect to Chrono24 or eBay?

WatchFlow's own inventory page says there is no live Chrono24 or eBay connector, and that Shopify, Instagram and Facebook posting are coming soon, as of October 2026.
