About the collection

The Tudor Submariner was introduced in the mid-1950s, shortly after the Rolex model, using the same Oyster case design with a Tudor-signed dial and an outside movement. Tudor Submariners were issued to several navies, including the French Marine Nationale, and from the late 1960s many used the snowflake hands that later inspired the Black Bay.

References in the catalog run from 1960s and 1970s models such as refs. 7016, 9401 and 9411 to the 79090 and 79190 of the 1980s and 1990s, the last of the line, all with movements from outside suppliers such as ETA. Dealers check the dial and hands, bezel insert, Rolex-signed crown and case, and ask about service replacements.
