About the collection
Oyster Prince was the name Tudor used from the 1950s for its automatic Oyster watches, combining a Rolex Oyster case with a self-winding movement from an outside supplier.
The catalog holds ref. 7909. The Oyster Prince name also appeared on the dials of Tudor's early Submariners. On vintage Oyster Prince models, dealers check that the dial, hands and crown are original, that the case retains its shape and that any bracelet is a correct period piece.
