About the collection
Monte Carlo is the collectors' name for Tudor's Oysterdate chronographs of the 1970s, refs. 7149, 7159 and 7169. Their dials, with an orange or blue and grey colour scheme, reminded people of a casino roulette wheel.
They use the manual-wind Valjoux 234 and come with fixed or rotating bezels. Dealers check that the dial, hands and bezel insert are original and look for correct Rolex-signed crowns and bracelets.
