About the Cellini family

Cellini was the name Rolex used for its dress watches, outside the Oyster family. The modern Cellini range of the 2010s was built around round cases in 18k gold with a double bezel, one fluted and one domed, on leather straps. It included Time, Date, Dual Time and, from 2017, the Moonphase ref. 50535 with a blue enamel moon disc.

The references in this catalog use calibers such as 3132, 3165, 3180 and 3195, all automatic. Rolex wound the collection down in the early 2020s, and the Perpetual 1908 of 2023 has since taken over its role as the brand's dress watch. Because Cellini models trade less often than Oyster pieces, condition, the original strap and buckle and the presence of box and papers carry real weight.
