About the Sky-Dweller family

The Sky-Dweller was introduced in 2012 as one of Rolex's most complex watches: a dual time zone with an off-centre 24-hour disc and an annual calendar that shows the month through small windows around the dial. Its Saros system needs adjusting only once a year, at the end of February.

Settings are made through the Ring Command bezel, which is turned to select the function. Early models were in gold only. Steel and Rolesor versions followed in 2017, and in 2023 the line moved to caliber 9002, with references such as 336934, 336933 and 336935. Dealers identify a Sky-Dweller by metal, bracelet (Oyster, Jubilee or Oysterflex) and dial colour, and check that the date and month mechanisms work correctly.
