About the collection
The RM 001 Tourbillon of 2001 was the first Richard Mille watch. It introduced the shape and approach the brand is known for: a curved tonneau case, a manual-winding tourbillon movement left largely on view and a design that treats the movement like a racing car's chassis.
It was made in very small numbers. As the founding reference of the brand, it is traded mainly among collectors, and provenance, service history with Richard Mille and the original papers matter more than usual.
