About the Altiplano family
Altiplano is Piaget's ultra-thin collection. The name was introduced in 1998, but the line builds on the brand's ultra-thin calibers going back to the hand-wound 9P of 1957. The watches have very slim cases, minimal dials and are made almost entirely in gold.
The catalog includes models with the hand-wound 430P, the automatic micro-rotor 1200P and its variants, and skeleton models with the 1200S, in rose, white and yellow gold. Because the cases are so thin, check them for bends and dents, and confirm the movement against the reference.
