About the collection
Pre-Vendome is the collectors' name for Panerai watches made between the first civilian launch in 1993 and the 1997 acquisition by the Vendôme group, later Richemont. They were sold in small numbers, mainly in Italy, and carry references such as 5218-201/A rather than PAM numbers.
The catalog lists seven such references. Because production was small and parts are now hard to find, dealers check that the dial, hands and case are original and look for the original papers and box.
