About the collection
The 1858 collection, introduced in 2018, takes its name from the founding year of Minerva, the Villeret watchmaker that is now part of Montblanc. It draws on Minerva's military and mountaineering watches from the 1920s and 1930s, with large crowns, cathedral-style hands and luminous numerals, and often uses bronze and green or champagne dials.
The catalog includes time-only, chronograph and Geosphere world-time models in steel. Pieces with Minerva-made chronograph movements and the limited editions interest collectors most; for standard models, buyers check the condition of the case and dial and the full set.
