About the Aquatimer family

The Aquatimer was introduced in 1967 as IWC's first dive watch, with an internal rotating bezel and water resistance of 200 metres. Later generations moved to an external bezel, and from 2014 IWC used a system that combines an external bezel with an internal one for safer timing.

The catalog includes automatics and chronographs with calibers such as the 30110, 32111 and 79320, in stainless steel, rubber-coated steel, 18k gold and IWC's Ceratanium. Dealers identify the generation and material from the reference and check the bezel action, strap and papers.
