About the Evolution 9 family

Evolution 9 is the design language Grand Seiko introduced in 2020, alongside the high-beat caliber 9SA5, as a modern development of the Grand Seiko Style: a thinner bezel, wider hour and minute hands and a lower, more comfortable case. It became a collection in its own right and now covers mechanical, Spring Drive and chronograph models.

The catalog includes references with the 9SA4 and 9SA5 mechanical calibers, the 9RA2 and 9RA5 Spring Drive calibers and the 9RB family, in steel, Ever-Brilliant Steel, high-intensity titanium and platinum. Nature-themed dials such as the white birch texture are a large part of their appeal.
