About the collection
Spring Drive is Grand Seiko's hybrid movement: a mainspring powers the watch as in a mechanical movement, but the speed is controlled by a quartz crystal and an electromagnetic brake, which gives high accuracy and a seconds hand that glides without ticking. Grand Seiko has used it since 2004.
The references listed here use calibers including the 9R65 and 9R66, the 9R86 chronograph, the 9R15 and the eight-day 9R01, in steel, titanium, gold and platinum. Buyers value the full set, and a service from Grand Seiko is recommended for these movements.
