About the collection
The 56GS, introduced in 1970, is an automatic Grand Seiko running at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It was produced into the later 1970s with date and day-date versions, on calibers 5641, 5645 and 5646.
It is one of the more accessible vintage Grand Seiko families. Buyers check the case for sharp lines, the dial and hands for originality, and the automatic winding and date change for correct function.
