About the collection
The 45GS V.F.A. is the Very Fine Adjusted version of the hand-wound high-beat 45GS, using caliber 4580. V.F.A. was Grand Seiko's highest accuracy grade at the end of the 1960s and in the early 1970s, with each movement specially adjusted to a far tighter monthly rate than a standard model.
V.F.A. watches were made in small numbers and are among the most sought-after vintage Grand Seikos. Check the dial for the V.F.A. markings, the originality of the hands and the condition of the case.
