Grand Seiko 19GS

The 19GS was the first Grand Seiko designed for women, appearing in 1969. It used caliber 1964, a small hand-wound movement running at 36,000 vibrations per hour, the same high-beat approach that Grand Seiko was using in its men's watches at the time.

These are small, rarely seen vintage pieces. When dealing in one, check the dial and hands for originality, the case for over-polishing, and that the movement has been serviced by someone familiar with vintage Seiko calibers.
