About the L.U.C family
L.U.C is Chopard's high-end collection, named after the founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard. It grew out of Chopard Manufacture in Fleurier, founded in 1996, and the first L.U.C watch with an in-house movement was presented in 1997. Many models carry a COSC chronometer certificate, and some also have the Geneva Seal.
The line covers thin dress watches with micro-rotor movements, such as those using the 96.12-L caliber, as well as chronographs, perpetual calendars and tourbillons. Cases in this catalog include rose gold, steel and Lucent Steel. Buyers look for the chronometer certificate and full set, and confirm the caliber against the reference.
