About the Chronomat family

The Chronomat name first appeared on a 1940s Breitling chronograph with a slide-rule bezel. The modern Chronomat was introduced in 1984, with rider tabs on the bezel, and became the brand's main sports chronograph. In 2009 it was the first watch to carry Breitling's in-house caliber B01.

The 2020 generation brought back the Rouleaux bracelet with its rounded links. The catalog lists more than two hundred references, including chronographs, three-hand automatics, GMTs and smaller models, in steel, red gold, Blacksteel and two-tone. Dealers identify the generation, size and caliber from the reference and check the bracelet.
