About the Navitimer family

The Navitimer was introduced in 1952 as a pilot's chronograph with a circular slide rule on the bezel, used for flight calculations such as fuel consumption and speed. It became the official watch of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, whose wings logo appeared on early dials.

The modern Navitimer includes chronographs with the in-house B01 in 41, 43 and 46 mm, three-hand automatics, GMTs and perpetual calendars, with a redesign in 2022 that brought back the AOPA wings. The catalog lists steel, red gold, Blacksteel and steel and platinum versions. Dealers identify the size, caliber and dial and check the bracelet or strap.
