About the Type XX family
The Type XX was a flyback chronograph made by Breguet in the 1950s for the French Air Force and naval aviation, and the vintage military pieces are highly collectable. In 1995 Breguet brought the design back as a civilian line with the reference 3800, keeping the flyback function, which resets and restarts the chronograph with a single push.
In 2023 the line was relaunched with the reference 2057, the Type 20 based on the military original, and the 2067 Type XX chronograph, both with new in-house calibers, 728 and 7281. Dealers should confirm which generation a watch belongs to, check that the flyback works correctly and note whether the original strap or bracelet is included.
