About the BR 01 family

The BR 01 is the watch that defined modern Bell & Ross. Introduced in 2005, it put the look of a round aircraft gauge inside a square case, 46 mm across, with four visible screws at the corners, and turned it into a wristwatch. The examples in this catalog are mostly titanium, though steel, ceramic and gold versions also exist.

Reference names follow the pattern BR 01-92, where the number after the dash gives the function: 92 is the three-hand model, 94 the chronograph, and other numbers mark special displays. Editions such as the Airspeed and the many themed limited runs carry their own suffixes. The BR 01 wears large, so many buyers now choose the smaller BR 03; those who want the original size tend to focus on limited editions in good, complete condition.
