About Bell & Ross

Bell & Ross was founded in Paris in 1992 by Bruno Belamich and Carlos A. Rosillo, with the idea of making instrument-style watches for pilots and other professionals. The watches are produced in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, and the whole identity of the brand comes from the aircraft cockpit: highly legible dials, generous luminous markings and, above all, the round dial set inside a square case that the BR 01 introduced in 2005.

In this catalog the square Instrument family runs from the large BR 01 to the more wearable BR 03 and the compact BR S, with the BR-X1, BR-X3 and BR-X5 forming the more technical, experimental branch. The BR 05 is the integrated-bracelet sports watch, the BR 02 covers diving, and the Vintage BR range offers round cases with a mid-century military feel.

When dealing in Bell & Ross, read the full reference code: model, function, dial colour and case material are usually spelt out in it, and it should match the watch in front of you. Limited editions are numbered on the case, and buyers expect the original box, papers and, where supplied, the extra strap. Steel BR 03 and BR 05 models are the ones dealers handle most often.
