About the Royal Oak Offshore family

The Royal Oak Offshore was introduced in 1993, designed by Emmanuel Gueit as a larger, more robust version of the Royal Oak. The first chronograph, ref. 25721, had a 42 mm case and rubber-clad pushers and crown, and its size was unusual for the time.

The line went on to include the 42 mm and 44 mm chronographs, divers with an internal rotating bezel, such as ref. 15720, and many models in ceramic, titanium, forged carbon and gold. Recent chronographs use in-house calibers such as the 4401 flyback in the 43 mm ref. 26420. Dealers note case size, material and strap, and the condition of rubber parts, which often need replacing at service.
