About the Code 11.59 family
Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet was introduced in 2019 as a new round collection. Its name refers to the last minute before a new day. The design combines a round bezel and caseback with an octagonal middle case, open-worked lugs and a sapphire crystal curved in two directions.
The collection launched with new in-house calibers, the 4302 for time and date and the 4401 integrated flyback chronograph, and has since grown to include perpetual calendars, tourbillons, minute repeaters and the 41 mm Selfwinding ref. 15210 in steel. Many models use two-tone cases in gold and ceramic. Dealers identify models by reference and dial finish, as the later fumé and textured dials differ from the 2019 launch pieces.
