About the collection

The Datograph was introduced in 1999 as a flyback chronograph with Lange's outsize date and a precisely jumping minute counter. Its hand-wound caliber L951.1 is known for its finishing and for the layout of its column-wheel chronograph.

Later versions include the Datograph Perpetual with a perpetual calendar and the Datograph Up/Down with caliber L951.6, which added a power reserve display. The catalog lists references in pink, yellow and white gold and platinum. Dealers identify the generation, metal and dial and ask for a service record from Lange.
