About the 1815 family
The 1815 line is named after the birth year of the company's founder, Ferdinand Adolph Lange, and has been part of the modern collection since the 1990s. Its look is drawn from historical Lange pocket watches: Arabic numerals, a railway-track minute ring and blued steel hands on a silver dial.
The line includes hand-wound time-only models with caliber L051.1, the 1815 Chronograph with caliber L951.5, the 1815 Up/Down with a power reserve display and more complex pieces such as perpetual calendars and rattrapante chronographs. Dealers identify the model, size and metal from the reference, and check the dial and papers.
