Buyer ready to pay immediately by wire.

Wire Ready, explained

'Wire ready' or 'cash ready' tells a seller that the buyer can pay immediately, usually by bank wire transfer, as soon as the deal is agreed. It shows the buyer is serious and doesn't need time to arrange funds or sell another watch first.

In a fast-moving market, being wire ready can win a deal even against a slightly higher offer, because sellers value certainty and speed. For sellers, it is still worth checking who the buyer is: a claim of being wire ready means nothing until the funds actually arrive and clear. Most dealers ship only after payment has cleared, unless a trusted middleman or a long relationship covers the risk. Buyers should double-check the seller's payment details too, ideally by phone with someone they know, since a last-minute change of bank account is a classic sign of fraud.

Example: 'Wire ready for a full-set 126610LN, can pay today if the card is dated this year.'
