Stickers On, explained
Stickers on, or stickered, means the factory protective stickers or films are still in place. Brands put these on surfaces that are easily scratched, such as the caseback, clasp, bracelet and sometimes the bezel or crystal, to protect the watch before it is sold.
Dealers mention stickers because they are one of the clearest signs that a watch is unworn. Most owners remove them soon after wearing the watch, so a watch with all its stickers intact is often treated as new by buyers, and it supports a higher price. Stickers alone are not proof, though, since they can be removed and replaced, or replica stickers can be added. Buyers still look at the clasp and bracelet for marks and at the card date. If some stickers are missing, the listing should say which ones.
Typical usage: “BNIB Rolex Explorer, stickers on caseback and clasp, unsized bracelet, 2025 card.” A buyer might ask for close photos showing the stickers in place to confirm.
