Market & deal terms
What does “Shipped” mean?
Price includes shipping.
Shipped, explained
'Shipped' after a price means the price includes shipping: the seller pays for delivery and the buyer pays nothing extra for the label. For watches this normally means insured, tracked shipping with a signature on delivery.
A shipped price makes comparisons easier, since the buyer knows the total upfront. It still pays to be clear on the details: which carrier, how much insurance, whether delivery is to a business or a home address, and whether international shipments, duties and taxes are covered. 'Shipped' usually applies to the country stated in the listing, so a buyer elsewhere should ask before assuming the same price applies to them. When two sellers quote similar prices, one shipped and one '+ label', the shipped one is effectively cheaper.
Example: 'Price is shipped and insured within the US. International buyers please ask for a quote.'
