About the collection
Seamaster is Omega's oldest current line name, first used in 1948. This general heading in the catalog holds Seamaster models that sit outside the named sub-families, mostly versions of the Seamaster Bullhead, a chronograph with its crown and pushers at the top of the case like a stopwatch.
The vintage Bullhead, ref. ST 146.011, dates from 1969, and Omega later revived the design in modern form with references such as 225.12.43.50. Dealers identify these pieces by reference and dial colour, and for the vintage model look closely at the originality of dial and bezel.
