About the collection
The Chronostop was an Omega chronograph of the late 1960s built for timing short events, such as a sprint or a lap, rather than recording long periods. A single pusher starts and stops a central seconds hand, which returns to zero when released, and the case is often more compact than a full chronograph.
The catalog holds the steel ref. 145.007. As a vintage piece, it is judged by the condition of the dial and hands and the state of the movement, and dealers look for original crowns and pushers.
