About the Seamaster 300 family

The Seamaster 300 was introduced in 1957 as Omega's first professional dive watch, alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster. Vintage references such as the 165.024 and 166.024 of the 1960s are among the most collected Omega divers.

In 2014 Omega relaunched the model with a 41 mm case, a ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal scale and caliber 8400, and in 2021 updated it with Master Chronometer caliber 8912 under refs. 234.30.41.21. Versions in Sedna gold, bronze gold and platinum also exist. Dealers separate vintage from modern first, then identify the generation by reference, caliber and dial, and check the condition of the vintage lume and bezel.
