About Laurent Ferrier

Laurent Ferrier worked at Patek Philippe for 37 years before founding his own brand in Geneva in 2010 with his son Christian and Ricardo Pescante. His first watch, the Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral, won the men's watch prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève that year.

The brand's watches are known for their rounded, pebble-shaped Galet cases and restrained dials. The catalog lists the Galet models including the Galet Square and the Galet Traveller, the Classic and Classic Origin, the Classic Moon and the Sport models, in steel, gold and platinum.

Production is a few hundred watches a year, so dealers check the papers, the dial version and, on micro-rotor models, the movement finishing.
