About Habring²
Habring² is the workshop of Richard and Maria Kristina Habring in Völkermarkt, Austria, founded in 2004. Richard Habring had earlier worked on split-seconds chronographs in the industry, and the couple built their reputation on simpler, more robust versions of classic complications, made largely in house and sold at comparatively modest prices.
The catalog lists the Felix, built on the workshop's own hand-wound caliber, the Erwin with its dead-beat (jumping) seconds and the Erwin Pilot and Globetrotter, the Doppel and Doppel-Felix split-seconds chronographs, the Chrono-Felix including a monopusher and a perpetual calendar, the Foudroyante-Felix, and the Jorge and Josef, all in steel.
Many Habring² watches are configured to order, with dial and hand choices, so dealers check that the details match the papers.
