About De Bethune

De Bethune was founded in 2002 by David Zanetta and the watchmaker Denis Flageollet in L'Auberson, in the Swiss Jura. The brand is known for technical work on the regulating organ, including silicon and titanium-and-platinum balance wheels and its own shock protection, and for blued titanium, mirror-polished steel and the spherical moon phase.

The catalog lists the DB25, the brand's round dress and complication watch, including moon phases, perpetual calendars, world-time and starry-sky dials; the DB28, with its floating lugs that follow the wrist; the DB27, DB Eight and DW5; the DBD; and the reversible Kind of Two. Cases are titanium, platinum, white gold and rose gold.

De Bethune references code the model, metal and dial, so dealers quote the full reference and check that the dial, often a hand-made starry sky, matches it. Box, papers and service history from the brand matter.
