Christiaan van der Klaauw

Christiaan van der Klaauw is a Dutch maker of astronomical watches, founded by the watchmaker of that name in 1974. It is best known for planetarium watches, which show the planets turning around the sun on the dial.

The catalog lists the Grand Planetarium Eccentric Silicium, an eight-planet planetarium made in six pieces, and the Venus Annual Calendar. Both were nominated at the 2026 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, in the Mechanical Exception and the Calendar and Astronomy categories.
