About Armin Strom

Armin Strom takes its name from a watchmaker in Burgdorf, Switzerland, who began skeletonising movements in 1967. The present company was set up in 2006 by Serge Michel with watchmaker Claude Greisler and now works as a manufacture in Biel, designing and making its own movements and showing them from the dial side.

The catalog lists the Mirrored Force Resonance, launched in 2019, in which two balances are linked by a resonance clutch spring so that they settle into the same rhythm, and the Gravity Equal Force, built around a constant-force mechanism. Both are steel or steel and rose gold, with the movement architecture as the main design element.

Dealers quote the model name with the case metal and dial colour, since several colour versions share a movement, and check box, papers and service history.
